As bicycle infrastructure and education programs continue to grow across New York State and around the country, there is a clear need to establish a dialogue on bicycle behavior with local law enforcement. This panel will address strategies to engage with law enforcement, and help officials in your community understand the behavior of cyclists, and legal expectations both on and off the street. Panelists will discuss examples of best practices and discuss key concepts for holding drivers accountable, including the dutch reach.
